Traffic India: Escape the Jam ("the game") is a traffic puzzle game made by Siddharth Pattnaik ("I", "me"). These terms explain the conditions under which you may play it. They are written to be short and plain. By installing or playing the game you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
The game is free to download. You may install it and play it on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the game, copy its art, music, voices or levels into other products, or remove its copyright notices. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved.
The terms of the store you installed the game from also apply: the Google Play Terms of Service, or the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to the store's terms; where the two conflict, the store's terms prevail for anything that store requires.
Coins, hints, stars, ranks and unlocked cities are part of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be transferred to another player. I may rebalance prices and rewards in the game in an update; I will not take away a permanent item you have paid for.
The game is supported by advertising. Rewarded ads play only when you choose one, and pay their reward when the ad network reports it as earned; a reward is not guaranteed if an ad fails to load or is closed early. Short full-screen ads may appear between levels unless you own No Ads or the Everything Pack. The ads are supplied by Google AdMob and its partners; I do not choose individual ads and am not responsible for what advertisers offer. See the privacy policy for your platform (Android, iOS) for what advertising involves.
Please do not tamper with the game, its save data or its purchases, use it to break the law, or interfere with the services it relies on. I may withhold support for saves or purchases that have been altered.
The game is a cartoon puzzle. Its cities, landmarks, vehicles and characters are stylised and fictional; any resemblance to real persons is coincidental, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any city, government body, transport operator or vehicle manufacturer. Nothing in it is advice about real driving or road safety. Do not play while driving or riding.
I may update the game to add content, fix problems or meet platform requirements, and some updates may be required to keep playing. I may also stop distributing or supporting the game. The game plays offline, so levels you can already play will keep working on a device where it is installed.
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, I make no warranties, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that your progress will never be lost.
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the game in the twelve months before the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of the country you live in gives you the right to rely on your local law and courts.
If these terms change, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
